  • Version history

    • 2018: ParCorOEv1: The Pilot Corpus (10,000 words).
    • 2021: ParCorOEv2: 110,000 words of parallel text Old English-English, aligned by text, fragment, sentence and word. Fully searchable online database published in open access.
    • New in version v3: The parallel text has been increased to include over 300,000 words, with new texts added. Processing tasks have been partly automated. The headword list has been revised, with emphasis on proper names, patronymics and nouns and adjectives denoting nationalities. The parallel corpus has been integrated with the interface of Old English dictionaries, so that quotations from PacCorOEv3 illustrate entries to the dictionary interface and, moreover, in order that the headword list of the dictionary interface and the parallel corpus converge.
